I%u2019m glad you%u2019re with me on this adventure.%u201dThe next day, we take a small trip around the island. We visit the board where I mark days. During our walk, Friday suggests building a canoe to go to his island. I take him to my canoe on the other side, but he thinks it%u2019s too small for two people. So, we decide to make a bigger canoe by cutting a large tree. It takes a month to build and two days to move it to the beach.The day before our trip, Friday returns from the beach. He looks scared. He says there are three canoes on the beach. They are the cannibals and he thinks they are looking for him. I say, %u201cCalm down! Maybe they are not here for you. Let%u2019s wait and watch.%u201dWe grab 15 guns, go to a hill, and see 14 cannibals, 2 prisoners, and 3 canoes on the beach. They stop near the forest. We quietly approach through the forest, and I decide only to watch and attack if we need.We see the cannibals killing the first prisoner on the beach. The second prisoner is still alive. He is Europan. I decide to help him.We hide behind trees and shoot at them. They run to their canoes. After that, I run to the prisoner and Friday shoots another cannibal. I free the European. He says something in Spanish to me. I give him a gun and want him to help us. We want to get into a boat and follow them.Suddenly, I shout, %u201cWhat is that?%u201dWe see another person lying in the boat. He is frightened. There are ropes around his neck. When Friday sees him, he starts to cry. I cut the ropes. They hug each others. Friday starts to laugh and dance around the man. He says to me, %u201cThis is my father. It is unbelievable to see him again.%u201d Fridays smiles and says, %u201cWait here! I%u2019ll be back soon!%u201d
